Navarro W. Gray, Esq.
Navarro W. Gray, is a graduate of Hofstra University
School of Law located in Long Island, New York where he received his Juris
Doctorate degree with a concentration in intellectual property.
Mr. Gray has both litigation and transactional law experience. As a
litigator he has advocated on behalf of numerous clients in family/divorce,
criminal (Federal, State and Municipal Courts), contractual, and civil
cases. Additionally, he has drafted various entertainment
agreements. Mr. Gray has worked with Big Boi of the Outkast, T.I. and renowned
producer Ty Fyffe. He also has negotiated contracts with 50 Cents, LL
Cool J, Bad Boy Entertainment, MTV, Vh1 and creates licensing opportunities for
producers to have their music appear in television programs, video games, and
films.
Mr. Gray has gained various life experiences through jobs and internships with the following employers: United States Federal District Court Judge, United States Attorney’s Office, Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, MTV Networks, Virgin Records/Purple Ribbon Entertainment, Arista Records/Bad Boy Entertainment, and Johnson and Johnson.
Mr. Gray was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and United States District Court, District of New Jersey in 2008. He embarked on his legal career as a Law Clerk in the Bergen County Superior Court for the Honorable Edward V. Torack, J.S.C. (retired). Thereafter, he was employed as an associate at the Law Firm of Dilorenzo & Rush where he concentrated on family law and municipal court matters. Subsequently, Mr. Gray became an associate at the Law Firm of Hunt, Hamlin and Ridley where his experience flourished to representing public/government entities such as Passaic County, The City of Paterson, The City of Newark, Irvington Board of Education, Pleasantville Board of Education, the Joint Meeting of Essex and Union Counties and The Irvington Housing Authority.
In 2014, Mr. Gray became a founding Partner at The Gray Law Firm, LLC. located in Hackensack, New Jersey. He has made numerous appearances in the United States District Court, District of New Jersey, Superior and Municipal Courts throughout the State, and matters in the Office of Administrative Law and before the Public Employment Relations Commission. He also has successfully represented clients in insurance matters, personal injury cases, criminal offenses, family court, labor law cases, discrimination matters and entertainment law deals.
